While you're probably here for composition, I offer a wide breadth of services to both game developers and musicians alike. Below you'll find the different opportunities you can find in working with me.
Music Composition and Sound
As my primary service, my composition and sound design is meant to make your games sound at their absolute best. To achieve this, the musician and the developer need to be on the same page, share dreams and fears, and work together to create something special. My music envisions the entire scope of your project, and I work with you to bring your games alive. Past clients have praised me for my feedback on their games, great compositions, wide variety of music knowledge and ease of working with me. Music isn't an add on to the experience, it should be part of the vision. In addition, I'm experienced in writing traditional chamber and classical music as well for both professional and educational settings. As I am able, I work with the ensembles I'm writing for throughout the process, including a few rehearsals.
Orchestration |
Performance |
Are you a great composer who has a live recording coming up with an orchestra or chamber ensemble, but don't have the knowledge, skill set or tools to take your music and write it out for performance. Do you have these skills, but don't have the time? I'm available to help you on this front!
Whether you simply need music transferred from your DAW into sheet music, or you need orchestral arrangements of your 8 Bit music, I'm able to handle whatever it is you might need done on the engraving side of things as well! |
As an accomplished saxophonist, I'm also available to help provide a bit of realism to your music. While most of my public performance days are behind me at this point, I still play saxophone for game tracks in both classical and jazz mediums. It's my belief that saxophone is one of the worst sampled instruments out there (If you have evidence to prove me wrong...please do. I've been looking for a while now.) so I would love to make your music sound even better.

Lessons
Per Lesson |
This is the most flexible method as it's simply pay per lesson. Do you need help developing melodies, but don't have a lot of time to devote weekly? Sign up for one lesson, and work on strategies for as long as you need, then we can come back together for another at your own pace to check in.
|
Long Term |
Are you after a bit more rigorous education in composition or saxophone? Do you want to up your skills and find your voice a bit quicker with some more guidance? Available in both weekly and biweekly models, taking long term lessons is the way to level up your skills as quickly as possible in a short amount of time. Assignments would be provided on an individual basis, and material dependent on skill and comfort level. Whether you need help understanding why Neopolitan six chords are a thing, to expand harmonic vocabulary, work on world music concepts, or nail pesky altissimo on saxophone, I'll help you get there as fast as possible.

Free Consulations |
FREE!? Yes I said free! This is primarily meant for game developers, but also for musicians who just want to chat. I'm available over different services to simply talk about music, music in games and my philosophy of music. If you're a game developer who wants some help in working with musicians and sound designers, I'd love to help you learn some tricks and vocabulary to get you up to speed. I can help you understand what your game might need as well from my perspective. And I offer this service to you even if I'm not working on your game. This is a completely free service meant to help you grow in your understanding. And who knows, maybe I'll learn something in the process too!
